Forte Toools FAQ
Why Choose Forte Tools Vacuums?
Safety & Compliance: Certified HEPA filtration captures 0.3 µm particles with very high efficiency, helping you meet OSHA silica-dust regulations.
Energy Efficiency: Motor switches on the F26 and F36 let you run only as many motors as needed — reducing energy use and extending component life
Durable Build: Reinforced metal frames with extra support bars and rugged casters make Forte vacuums job-site tough.
Convenient Maintenance: Reverse-air cleaning systems reduce clogging without opening the vacuum, and the F26 & F36 use continuous bag systems to minimize exposure to dust during bag changes.
Parts & Service Availability: Replacement HEPA filters are available (for F18, F26, F36 models) for routine maintenance.
Can I run fewer than all motors on the F26 or F36 to save power?
Yes. Both models let you operate individual motors independently, so you can match power to the job size.
How do the F26 and F36 compare?
Both models use the same two-stage filtration system and bagging system.
F26: Dual motors, about 236 CFM airflow, lighter than the F36, great for smaller-to-medium grinding operations.
F36: Triple motors, higher maximum airflow (reported up to ~285 CFM), more powerful suction — ideal for larger grinders or high-volume dust situations.
Are Forte vacuums a good value compared to other brands?
Many in the industry consider Forte a cost-effective alternative to legacy brands like Husqvarna’s Ermator line. They deliver comparable performance with quality motors and filters — at a lower price point.
How is dust collected in these vacuums?
Forte vacuums use a continuous drop-down bag system (also called Long-Casette) that seals dust inside a bag. Once full, you cut off the top, and the dust stays contained.
Do Forte vacuums require special maintenance?
Maintenance is straightforward. The reverse-air cleaning system helps clear the filters without exposing you to dust. HEPA filters (which trap the finest particles) are replaceable, and Forte provides replacement filters.
What power requirements do these vacuums have?
F26: Runs on 120V, 16 Amp; uses dual motors. While the F36 (3-motor version): 120V, 20 Amp; three 1,000W motors.
