Sure Crete products are designed for a variety of surfaces including new or existing concrete, masonry, wood (in some systems), and properly prepared overlays. Surface prep is key to successful bonding and long-term performance.

Proper prep includes cleaning, degreasing, repairing cracks, and often mechanical profiling (grinding or shot blasting) to achieve an open concrete surface (CSP 2–4 depending on the product). Adhesion relies heavily on surface readiness.

Temperature and humidity greatly impact working time and curing. Warmer temps speed up reaction times, while cold slows them down. Ideal conditions are typically between 60°F–80°F (15°C–27°C) with moderate humidity.

For durability and chemical resistance, polyaspartic (like DK 180), polyurethane (like DK 4000), or epoxy-based sealers are recommended for commercial and high-traffic floors. Slip-resistant additives can also be included.

Yes, many SureCrete systems can be integrally colored with ColorPacks or tinted on-site for custom designs. They also offer pre-blended colors and pigments for consistent, repeatable results.
